Do you have to be licensed to participate in a Behavioral Tech Institute training?
DBT places more emphasis on the skills of treatment providers than on their credentials, yet it is essential that anyone providing DBT services be legally permitted to provide these services. Given this, we don’t stipulate specific credentials for those attending training, but do request trainees know and abide by the legal requirements for the jurisdiction in which you work.

Additional information can be found on our website here. Once you have a good understanding of certification, take a look at our Upcoming Public Trainings page and reach out if you have any questions about our trainings.
